Talk about fire.

This is D'stini checking in with your Equality news. GO EAGLES!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Equality Basketball Teams are on Fire

Varsity girls basketball earn their first win!
The varsity girls basketball are in their first year and came away with a 1-1 record as they finished up their first competitive week. Lead by Leigh-ann Ramsey and Melina Rodriguez the girls team came out firing and finished up on the boards to secure their weekend victory. Keep up the hard work!
Equality Boys Heat it Up
On one of the coldest day of the winter thus far, Equality Boys heat up the gym with a victory against Atmosphere, 45 – 22. Equality was raining three pointers throughout the entire game – (10) to be exact. Our defense was in sync, as we caused a total of nine turnovers. In the same efforts, we had a balance offensive outcome from the following players: David Hutchinson scored (11) points, Jayson Jones-West and Chris Craig both scored (10) points, Eber Ponce tallied (9) points, and Liam Rodriguez scored (6) points. Coach Cooper and Coach Laurence were very proud of the team for executing on offensive, but most importantly, being aggressive on defense – as we take pride at playing defense. A special thanks goes out to all the crowd support – the parents and some (those who were able to stay back) of the Equality Girls team for cheering the Boys on. Let’s Go EAGLES!!
