 HUGE shoutout to our NHS Team for raising money and donating toys for our Annual NHS Toy Drive. This year we were able to purchase 46 brand new toys which will be donated to the Praxis Family Shelter. How amazing!

 Happy Friday! Here is a little behind the scenes from our Math Department, check it out as our scholars and teachers are working hard working on some math problems! We can't wait until we can all be learning together in person again.

We hope that everyone had a happy and safe Thanksgiving break! We wanted to say thank you to Karines Reyes and her team for delivering Turkeys to ECHS! We're so thankful and grateful for them!

 Given the news from the New York City Department of Education, Equality Charter School will be transitioning back to 100% remote learning for all students starting on November 19, 2020.. We will monitor the situation and will be in contact with families when we have determined our dates to transition back to in-person instruction.

 Now more than ever, we realize how important your generosity has been throughout the years. At a time when everything feels uncertain, we find comfort and encouragement knowing that we can count on you.

While we adapt to the ever-changing circumstances due to COVID-19, our mission to elevate education and champion our scholars’ success will never be put on hold.

 Last week Senator Jamaal Bailey led a Zoom meeting with our Participation In Government class. He spoke about getting involved in politics, the importance of civic duty, and took the time to answer our scholars questions. We were so honored to share that time with him!
