#throwbacktuesday
Last month some of our 8th graders had the opportunity to visit the kindergarten classes of PS 160 and join them for their read aloud for Black History Month. They read Starstruck: The Cosmic Journey of Neil DeGrasse Tyson and then created their own galaxies with them using glitter and glue. The kindergarten students were very excited to have our students as guest readers, and their teachers appreciated it as well! Our 8th graders were also able to earn community service hours for National Junior Honor's society.
